Private Lessons and Private Classes
Available Classes

The following party and class ideas are a wonderful way to spend time with friends and family. Bring your favorite beverages, snacks, birthday treats or Hors d'oeuvres and enjoy!

Private Lessons: Does your schedule conflict with a class date?  Are you interested in a class we aren’t currently offering?  Do you simply learn better one-on-one?  Try a private lesson!  Give us a call for more info and to schedule your private lesson in advance.

Private Parties: The Bead Fetish welcomes private parties for kids and adults of all ages! An instructor will lead your group through your chosen project. This is a great idea for holiday gift giving, birthdays, organizational teamwork or for a creative ladies night out! Please call to schedule your party in advance. No bead experience necessary.

Private Classes: Gather 4 or more of your friends, family or co-workers together and book a private class! Choose from any of our currently scheduled classes or from classes we've offered in the past. Please call to schedule your class two weeks in advance. Class Policy

• If you find that you can not attend a class or party that you registered for, let us know a minimum of 72 hours before the date of the class and you will be given a credit towards another class or for store credit, minus 30%.
No reminders will be sent so please mark your calendar. Absolutely no refunds will be given for forgotten classes.
Payment in full is required at the time of registration in order to reserve your space.

Basic Classes
• Basic Stringing

In this class you will learn basic stringing techniques using findings such as crimp beads, clasps and cable stringing material to create a bracelet, necklace or anklet.

• Fashion Earrings

Discover how quick and easy it is to design and create your own earrings. In this class you'll learn how to use the basic tools and supplies needed to design and make anything from simple to elegant earrings, to chandelier earrings and everything in between.

•Flat Peyote Stitch

This bracelet uses flat peyote stitch to create a one of a kind geometrical work of art. Whether you leave it simple and elegant or embellish the finished bracelet with beads, all it takes is a steady hand and a vivid imagination! *Note: This project may not be completed in class, however you will leave with all of the knowledge required to complete it at home.

• Peyote Tube Beads

Design your own beads using your favorite color scheme while learning the round Peyote Stitch. This technique driven class is great for beading enthusiasts that have been curious about working with seed beads. You'll be amazed how time flies as you finish each bead!

• Professional Bead Knotting

Learn how to knot in between beads like the professionals do! Knotting adds a design element, strength, flexibility and protection to your favorite beads. Besides knotting, you will learn how to attach bead tips and a clasp to your design.

• Ring Around the Rosy

Flowers and rings, what more could one ask for? Learn to make stretchy rings with the whimsy of flowers, leaves and other inspirational beads. Great project for all levels of beading.

• Spring Fling

Stitch your way into fashion using a variety of beads such as firepolish, crystals, semi-precious stones, metals, etc. Be a fashionista and wear this little cutie as a necklace pendant or a key, phone or purse fob.

• Vintage Woven Bracelet

This delicate bracelet is made with Right Angle Weave, seed beads and gorgeous Austrian Crystals! It's an eye catching treasure that's so pretty you won't want to take it off! Seed bead experience recommended.

Wire Working
• Adventures with Findings

Take the look of your jewelry to the next level by making your own findings. Venture with us through the many twists, turns and shapes of headpins, ear wires, clasps and toggles. This class will help you add a personal touch and flair to your projects. Discover new tools such as various types of hammers, a bench block and a micro torch.

Beaded Toggle

Learn to make an extraordinary finish or focal piece for your most ordinary beads. Using wire and your favorite little beads, your masterpiece will dazzle any necklace or bracelet. Some wire experience recommended but not required.

• Beginning Wire Wrapping

In this class you will learn about the tools needed and the techniques used to wire wrap beads and turn them into beautiful jewelry. You will make a bracelet in class.

This little keepsake is the perfect way to showcase all of your charms and goodies from “Get Riveted!”, “Metal Meets Beads”, “Words of Wisdom”, and other classes. Learn to fuse and shape chain without the chemicals used in soldering.

This is a great class to hone your wire working skills. Some wire working experience recommended. Soldered Cabochon Set Pendant
• Soldered Cabochon Set Pendant

Learn how to create a custom made bezel and set it with your favorite cabochon. Along with these new techniques, you’ll be using a culmination of techniques you’ve learned in previous classes. Prerequisites: Adventures with Findings, Soldered Pendant, Metal Meets Beads.

• Soldered Chain

Now that you've learned to solder, join us as we make a handmade soldered chain to hang your pendant from! Note: This is a technique driven class, in which you will be creating samples only of several styles of chain. Prerequisite: Soldered Pendant.

• Soldered Wire Pendant

In this class you will learn about the variety of tools and techniques used to do basic soldering and will make a wire formed pendant. Prerequisite: Adventures with Findings.
