Do you have an actual store?

Yes, and if you're in the area please be sure and drop by and see us. We are located in the heart of trendy Midtown Sacramento, only two blocks from the State Capitol. It's a "must-see" bead shop and is definitely worth the trip!

How do I reach customer service?
Please do not telephone with questions regarding online orders. Email us at

Clearly state your question in the email, and please include your telephone number. We will respond by email promptly, and if neccessary we will call you with the answer.

What are your store hours?
Our store in Sacramento is open 7 days a week for your shopping convenience and we would love to have you come see us!
Monday - Saturday: 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Sunday: 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Our e-commerce store is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!

What is the "Second Saturday Sale" at the store?
Every second Saturday of the month, for one day only, we have a huge sale. It's all new merchandise that we bring in especially for the sale. We mark it with the retail price, let you have first pick at it and at a savings of 50% off! The product varies from month to month but it's always new and exciting!

For now unfortunately, it's just for those of you that can easily get to Midtown in Sacramento, CA. once a month. However, once we get further along with our website we'll include items on it for the sale on a special page. E-mail us with your e-mail address and we'll keep you posted.

What is your privacy policy?
We care as much about your privacy as we do our own. We do not sell, trade or rent any of your information to anyone. Any information we collect from you, for shipping and payment, is secure and is held in strict confidentiality.

Is my shopping cart secure?
The Bead Fetish employs the highest levels of security to ensure that your order is confidential and secure. We encrypt your transactions by using a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) that assures your credit card number is submitted in encrypted form. If your browser is capable of SSL (most current browsers, including Netscape, Internet Explorer, Firefox and Safari are) all sensitive information you provide is encrypted before being sent over the Internet. This technology is the industry standard and is among the best available.

Occasionally a message will appear to alert you to the fact that you are leaving a secure page and going to a non-secure page (such as an information or shopping page). Be assured, the information you entered on the secure page remains secure. Note: Any pages where you are conveying personal information (name, address, credit card number), should show an image of a lock at the bottom of your screen. If the lock is closed, it is a secure page.

Do I have to "Create An Account" to complete checkout?
It is not required to create an account, however there are benefits for doing so. If you do choose to create an account, your billing address and your shipping address will be kept on record which will save you from having to fill it out each time you order with us. Your credit card information will NOT be saved, however. For safety reasons, you will be asked to input this information each time you order.

In order for resale customers to receive their discount, an account is required.

How long will your store keep my items in the basket?
We understand that while shopping, you may need to step away from the computer. It would be inconvenient to have to re-select all of the items from scratch, so for your convenience, we have a 2 hour grace period before the store removes the items from your basket.

How accurate are your photos for color and size?
Every attempt was made to match the photographs to the actual color of the item, however every monitor renders color differently, therefore, be aware that the color of the items may not be exactly how you see them on your computer.

Refer to the sizes included in the description. The photographs on the site are not representative of actual sizes.

Copyrights & Resale
All of the "pewter castings" we carry are the original designs of Kim Fandry (one of The Bead Fetish owners) and are protected by State and Federal Copyright laws. It is illegal to reproduce all or any of a copyrighted piece in any form. Copying and/or creating your own shapes from our designs is a copyright infringement. You may incorporate our components in your jewelry or other projects and resell them.

How can I get a discount?
You automatically receive a 10% discount every time you spend $100.00 or more.

Do you have a minimum order?
We do not have a minimum at this time, however please keep in mind that no matter how small your order is, you will still be charged full shipping and handling charges.

How do I place an order?
1.) You may order online using our secure shopping cart. Once you place your on-line order, you will receive an e-mail auto-confirmation.
2.) You may also e-mail us your order at beadfetish@sbcglobal.net. We will respond to you within 24 hrs.

When will my order be shipped?
We will do our best to ship all in stock items within 1 to 3 business days after receiving your order. We make every effort to ship your order out as soon as possible, but sometimes due to the volume of orders your order might be delayed.

What are my payment options?
Charge it! For the quickest service we suggest charging your order with VISA, Mastercard, Discover or American Express. We also accept PayPal. We offer secure online credit card ordering.

Checks? Yes. For orders to the US and Canada, we accept checks, but on a pre-payment basis only. You send us your check and once it clears at the bank we will send your order. Please be patient though as this method takes some time.

Do you charge sales tax?
California residents will be charged a 7.75% sales tax on all orders.

What if I have a Resale license?
You will not be charged sales tax if you submit a valid resale certificate to us. You may e-mail us a copy at beadfetish@sbcglobal.net, fax us a copy (call us for our fax number), or mail us a copy of your resale certificate. Once we receive your information you will receive a 15% discount on your order.

Do you sell wholesale?
At this time we are primarily a retail site, but you can get a resale discount with a valid resale certificate.

What is your backorder policy?
At this time we do not do backorders. Please check back often to view new and restocked items.

What is your return and exchange policy?
Your satisfaction is important to us. To receive a full refund, credit or exchange, please read the following:

1) Merchandise must be returned within a 30 day grace period, which begins from the ship date on your invoice.
2) Merchandise must be in its original unused, undamaged and unopened condition.
3) All merchandise will be credited at the original purchase price minus the shipping and 20% restocking fee.
4) All returns must be packed in a sturdy box (the original, if possible) and sealed with shipping tape. The Bead Fetish is not responsible for any merchandise returned in non-padded envelopes or otherwise inadequately packaged. Items damaged during return shipping will not be refunded.
5) All returns or exchanges must be pre-authorized by us and assigned a "Customer Return Authorization Number". The assigned "CRAN " number must be printed on the outside of any returned packages. We cannot accept returns or exchanges without this authorization number on the package.
6) Merchandise must be accompanied by a Merchandise Return Form (click here to download Word Document form) and a copy of the original invoice. You will not be credited for merchandise without this information.
7) All sales on Close-out and Sale merchandise are final.
8) All sales on merchandise not returned within 30 days are final.

How do I receive credit for returns or exchanges?
1) We can credit your debit or credit card, depending on how you paid.
2) You may use your credit towards a future or existing (pending) order.
3) A Bead Fetish check will be issued if you paid by check.

Are you closed for any Holidays?
Yes, we are closed on the following days:
~ New Year's Day
~ Thanksgiving Day
~ Christmas Day
Note: We do close early the day before or on the actual day of several holidays. Please call close the particular date you're wondering about.

What are my shipping options and costs?
We will do our best to ship all in stock items within 1 to 3 business days of receiving your order. All shipping costs will be calculated by the actual weight and will be shown at the end of your order when you check out. All shipments will be charged $1.50 handling fee.

First Class - Typically arrives 2-9 days after shipped, excluding holidays.
Priority - Within 3 business days
Please allow for extra time to deliver to Hawaii and Alaska.
o United Parcel Service (UPS)
Ground - arrives in 1 to 6 days depending on location.
Next Day Air - by 10:30 next business day
2nd Day Air - by end of 2nd business day
3 Day Select - by end of 3rd business day

International Orders
For shipping to international addresses, your choices will appear during checkout. All international orders must be prepaid by credit card. Rates do not include taxes or duty which may be collected upon delivery by the country of delivery.
